BeOn Pay2Game: Cashless as a Competitive Advantage

Cashless gaming has moved from concept to expectation. Players want faster access to funds, fewer lines at the ATM or cage, and less friction between intent and play. Operators want higher time on device or gaming machine, lower operational strain, and solutions that work across diverse player segments. BeOn Pay2Game sits squarely at that intersection.
BeOn Pay2Game allows slot players to fund a machine directly from their mobile device. No ATM visit, trip to the cage, nor wallet enrollment hurdles. Players can simply scan a QR code, select a funding method, and load funds directly to the game.
This matters because friction kills momentum. Every step between a player and the game is a chance to disengage. BeOn Pay2Game removes those steps while preserving regulatory integrity and operational control.
As Landon Stanfield, Everi Sr. Director of Product Management, Digital Payments, explained, the product was born from direct operator feedback.
“We gathered their feedback and incorporated market demand to determine how to create a cashless ecosystem where patrons can interact digitally while reducing onboarding and friction,” he said. “This product represents that IGT can deliver payment solutions effectively, efficiently, and drive forward the best overarching gaming experience for the guests.”
Built for the way players actually behave
Not every patron wants a full wallet experience. Patrons in destination markets, transient visitors, and casual players often resist account creation, even when the benefits are clear. Pay2Game meets those players where they are.
The onboarding flow requires only five data points: first name, last name, date of birth, phone number, billing ZIP code. That information enables passive identity verification, age confirmation, fraud prevention, and digital receipts. After the first use, players authenticate with a device passkey. The second transaction takes seconds.
“Once they’re set up, we’re talking under 10 seconds from scan to funds hitting the meter,” Stanfield said. “We're excited about the speed and convenience factor, which we’ve done in a way that's balancing the boarding friction with ease of use.”
Funding flexibility is another differentiator. BeOn Pay2Game supports Apple Pay with debit, PayPal, ACH via instant bank validation, and will offer additional funding options in the future, such as Venmo. Credit cards are blocked by design. This means operators provide funding options to their patrons but without added compliance risk.
A broader addressable market for operators
Wallet solutions remain powerful, but they serve a defined segment. BeOn Pay2Game expands the funnel.
Victor Newsom, SVP Product Management, Payment Solutions for Everi, framed it simply using a Venn diagram analogy. QuikTicket offers anonymity and speed while digital wallets offer depth and bidirectional value — BeOn Pay2Game sits between them, combining simplicity with digital access to the game.
“With the convenience of BeOn Pay2Game, it offers proximity to where patrons want to spend their money and the uptake potential is massive,” Newsom said. “It does not have the same type of strict provisions as a digital wallet, but thanks to all the work with we’ve done with digital wallets in roughly 20 different jurisdictions, we've already conditioned the regulators to support digital transport of funds to the game.”
BeOnPay2Game does not require players to be rated, which means operators can extend cashless access to nearly anyone who walks onto the floor. That changes the total addressable market and creates a natural progression. Players start with BeOn Pay2Game andfrequent visitors migrate to wallets over time, while operators gain flexibility without forcing a single model on every guest.
Designed for real casino environments
BeOn Pay2Game can be available across all systems with integration mechanics unique to each regulated system provider. It integrates with IGT, Konami, Acres, and other regulated systems capable of supporting direct funding.
The player experience also remains consistent, even when backend systems differ, and operators also retain visibility and control. Administrative dashboards support transaction review, troubleshooting, responsible gaming limits, and compliance reporting.
This technology stack was built with clear intent.
“We looked at it from all sides, patron and operator facing, emphasizing ease of use for both,” Stanfield said. “From a commercial standpoint, BeOn Pay2Game can be deployed as a plug-and-play solution, meaning it does not require a full cash-access overhaul from the operator nor does it require a wallet account style enrollment by patrons. That lowers adoption barriers and opens doors with operators who want immediate impact without long contract cycles.”
Why this matters now
Cashless adoption is accelerating. Everi’s QuikTicket and CashClub Wallet® volumes continue to grow year over year. BeOn Pay2Game builds on that foundation rather than competing with it.
“You’re going to see this new transaction pop-in which has the sort of the ubiquity optionality from a customer segmentation standpoint that QuikTicket has,” Newsom said. “it has an easy mental model for the casino operator because it’s essentially QuikTicket at the gaming machine with the digital value of a wallet.”
The result is more funds to floor, less friction, and a clearer path to 30 percent or higher cashless penetration over time when combining multiple digital solutions together.
Key takeaways for operators
Expand cashless access to a much larger share of the floor without forcing wallet enrollment
Reduce friction at the moment of play, increasing speed, convenience, and time on device
Gain a flexible, system-agnostic solution that complements QuikTicket and wallet strategies rather than replacing them
BeOn Pay2Game is not an experiment. It is the next step in a “crawl-walk-run" cashless strategy, built for how players behave today and how casinos operate in the real world.
